Next-generation sequencing (NGS) has revolutionized cancer research, enabling deeper insights into tumor biology, clonal evolution, and therapeutic resistance. However, the complexity of cancer samples—often degraded, limited in quantity, or highly heterogeneous—poses significant challenges to accurate genomic profiling.
